How to Plan a Home School Digestive System Lesson?

My cousin is home schooled and his mom wants to do a lesson of the digestive system. He’s currently learning how the human body works. She’s at the digestive system now. I believe she’s starting at the mouth. She doesn’t really know how to teach the digestive systemt hough. My cousin is 10 years old. How can she do a good lesson plan on the digestive system?

It took me about 5 minutes to find this many links. If you can’t find enough information here, then go to the search engine and put in "digestive system" and find the other 36,600,000 results. Actually, the search for "human digestive system" gives more results. Hopefully one of them will give you the information that the mom needs to explain the system to her 10 year old.

are they visual, verbal, or hands on learners?

Pick something that has all of those.

Example: History

Show pictures, films, slide shows
Talk about it
Then have them write or color about a moment in history.

What would the behavioral objectives be for this lesson plan?

Lesson Plan is a Matching Game matching different colors with objects that correspond to that color. For example red=heart.

i would think to see (isolate) if the part of the brain which allows those simple task associations is working properly or might be inhibited by any one of a hundred need to be diagnosed problems.

What are the basic steps to writing a lesson plan for preschool – Kindergarten class?

I just want a general idea of how to begin to write a lesson plan for pre-school and kindergarten children. A numbered list of keypoints would give me a general idea on what to expect. Thanks.

I start my lesson plans in September with colors – choose one – say red, for instance, we will color an apple red, then we will do a red craft – such as paint a red fire truck – we will sing red songs, have a snack and have free choice centers out. Next day is blue – paint bluebirds and stick on blue feathers – green, turtles – etc.

How would I adjust my lesson plan for children who are slightly more mature developmentally?

I did a lesson plan with a girl who as an IEP and is in preschool. The focus of my lesson was for her to sort big objects together as well as objects. I cut out two houses and she had to put either the big animal or the small animal on the house that went along with his size.

Put a medium one in there too. You could also make the horses and houses the same colors…but not the same sizes. Then you could have the child sort according to size and then according to color. This is a harder task and would require a higher level of development.

How do I make a good lesson plan based on the earth?

I’m trying to make a lesson plan for a camp that I am participating in. I want to be able to make this lesson be useful to kids in kindergarden students up to the fifth grade. If you have any good lessons at all, then I would greatly appreciate it!
