Spray the cage down with a solution
August 18th, 2010 | by admin |Begin by removing the existing bedding material. Remove the food bowl and water bottle. Spray the rabbit cage down with a solution of hot water and vinegar. Scrub the heavily soiled areas, paying special attention to the corner where they potty the most. Allow the hutch to dry completely, preferably in the sun.
Line the hutch with a couple layers of newspaper. Use several more layers of newspaper to line the potty corner. Fold the paper in this corner in half so that half lies on the floor of the hutch and the other half is up the side of the hutch. Lining with newspaper allows a solid floor surface for the rabbit to walk on.
